Dr. Ahmed Samir IBRAHIM is a cardiovascular radiologist, Professor and head of advanced cardiac imaging unit (including cardiac CT, congenital heart and cardiac MR imaging) program at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. His MD in general Radiology was from France (Lyon) on 2005, this was followed by training programs in cardiovascular imaging in both Germany (Erlanger) and USA (MIH, St Louis, Missouri). Dr IBRAHIM is also certified EBCR (European Board of Cardiovascular Radiology). Dr IBRAHIM is an experienced lecturer for postgraduate & MD students and is an active speaker in north Africa and middle east where he has been invited to give more than 80 presentations. He has trained more than 40 fellows in cardiovascular imaging. He is also a Co-Researcher and principal investigator (PI) on numerous international studies and has 38 international publications mostly in cardiovascular imaging fields and more than 158 citations (RG score of 25.86). He is also a cardiovascular imaging reviewer at Egyptian Journal of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine Elsevier B.V. (reviewed more than 60 cardiac articles till this date) and member of Egyptian and European societies of cardiovascular radiology (EgSCR and ESCR)
